5 December 2023 In the face of escalating misinformation and campaigning by anti-renewables groups over offshore wind zones, the Greens NSW have reaffirmed their support for offshore wind as a key component of the transition away from fossil fuels.

25 November is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 2023. The domestic, family and sexual violence have been demanding action from governments for so long - it's well past time governments listen. 

Today Abigail spoke about the important role that carers play in the everyday lives of millions of people with disability, older people and children. 

The Victorian Government recently partnered with Women with Disabilities Victoria to fund an employment program supporting women with disability to secure work in health, social and disability services. Women with disability bring unique and valuable skills and lived experience to these roles. Abigail passed a call in Parliament for the NSW Government to take action in this area to support women with disability in NSW.

19 November is World Toilet Day! What's that all about? Today Abigail passed a call for the government to eliminate barriers to accessing sanitation faced by 24% of Australians. 

Today in Parliament Abigail passed a motion highlighting the significant barriers women with disability face when accessing domestic, family and sexual violence services. 

Today Abigail supported the majority of changes in a bill in pursuit of a pro-worker agenda, after 12 years of worker neglect in the pubic service.

The Greens stand in solidarity with all Palestinians, today and every day. Abigail gave a speech tonight about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and the need for a permanent ceasefire and an end to the illegal occupation. 

The Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party brought on a ridiculous motion in Parliament about lab-grown meat, with so many inaccuracies and false claims. Abigail (and the entire rest of the chamber) voted against it, with Abigail speaking about the incredible possibilities of the blossoming lab-grown meat industry.  

Today Abigail spoke in Parliament about Qantas illegally standing down employee Theo Seremetidis for protecting workers health and safety. 

So much of our public policy doesn't listen to the voices and experiences of victim-survivors. We need to change this, and ensure the voices of victim-survivors are front and centre.

Today in Parliament Abigail gave notice of a motion calling out the Government's complete failure to listen to victim-survivors and advocates who have so clearly outlined the issues around drink spiking and what needs to be done. 

Today in Parliament Abigail gave notice of a motion in solidarity with The Seagull actors who wore keffiyeh in protest of the genocide in Gaza. 

Today in Parliament Abigail gave a speech in solidarity with peaceful protesters in Port Botany, and calling for their charges to be dropped.

Abigail spoke in Parliament on Labor's climate bill (in it's initial form before any Greens amendments!).
