Today in Parliament, Abigail contributed to a debate on artificial intelligence and workers' rights. While the tech industry builds its profits on stolen creativity, exploited labour and environmental destruction, she called for collective ownership of AI systems, democratic governance of automation and mandatory worker consultation before AI is deployed in any workplace.

Today in Parliament, Abigail passed a motion congratulating the people of Bangladesh who have loudly rejected autocratic rule and overwhelmingly called for a democratic future underpinned by justice, national sovereignty, political stability and lasting peace.

Banking is an essential public service, but in Australia it has become entirely privatised. Today in Parliament, Abigail gave an adjournment speech advocating for a Public Bank of NSW that will reinvest profits directly back into the community, meaning we can fund community projects with positive social and environmental outcomes, support small businesses across our community and help people who are unable to afford mortgage repayments or rent.
