Today Abigail stood in support of an amendment tabled by Greens NSW MP David Shoebridge. This amendment would ensure that police officers accused of sexual violence or harassment would not be promoted or appointed to senior positions and ensure that the NSW Police Force begins to seriously tackle the epidemic of sexual violence within it's ranks.

Today Abigail asked what the NSW Government is doing to ensure that women – whose industries have been disproportionally affected by the onset of COVID-19 – have access to secure, well-paid employment.

While the Liberal-National Coalition is in complete dysfunction and fighting amongst itself there are over 900,000 people living in poverty in NSW alone. Today Abigail stood to speak of the need for a strong government that listens and respects the people it is meant to serve and to condemn the Liberals and Nationals for continuing to bicker instead of govern. 

Concerned with the NSW Government's plan to bulldoze historic Blue Mountain towns to duplicate the Great Western Highway, today Abigail tabled a motion calling for a serious investigation to be undertaken into moving more freight to rail before proceeding with construction.

Today Abigail stood to speak about the need to take profit out of the aged care sector and guarantee care to everyone who needs it. 

Today Abigail spoke strongly in support for a request for footage and documentation in relation to potential animal cruelty at a Greyhound Racing NSW track that the Animal Justice Party had tabled. 

Continuing her investigative work into potential contamination at Tallawarra Power Station, today Abigail successfully secured the release of any documents relating to said contamination and sale of land.

Today Abigail stood to speak against the toxic One Nation Bill before Parliament that would see both the 30 year old ban on uranium mining and the ban on nuclear energy in NSW repealed.

Today Abigail asked why the NSW Government had purposely ordered new ferries built overseas with asbestos for deployment in Sydney and whether they were aware of the safety risks they posed to passengers.

With so many Sydney commuters forced to use privatised tollways to get to and from work, today Abigail spoke about the need to eliminate private tollroads and invest in world-class public transport.

With the NSW Coalition moving to support legislation by Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party lifting the ban on a NSW nuclear industry, the Greens are committing to working inside and outside Parliament to prevent this environmentally and socially damaging plan. 

Abigail and Greens NSW Senator Mehreen Faruqi compiled a submission to the NSW Government's statutory review of the Greyhound Racing Act 2017.

Hearing that the Government was not providing Transport NSW staff with face masks despite calls from the RTBU and the opening of a COVID-19 testing facility at Central station, Abigail asked what steps they were taking to protect the health of frontline transport staff.
