Support links for victim-survivors

Drink spiking is a criminal offence in Australia. In NSW, penalties include fines and up to 2 years imprisonment.

If you are a victim of drink spiking, you can:

  • Ask someone you trust to help you get to a safe place.
  • Go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
  • Ask for a blood or urine test for the presence of drugs (within the first 24 hours these tests can pick up traces of most drugs).
  • In an immediate emergency, call 000.
